One of the most fun activities to enjoy during any winter holiday is a thrilling toboggan evening and the cosy stop in a charming, snow-covered alpine hut. Sip on mulled wine and warm up by the toasty fireplace before racing everybody back down the mountain on the toboggan track, which is illuminated until 1 am.

Training your physical fitness while calming your mind in the rhythmic and challenging sport of cross-country skiing is also a fantastic way to explore the snow-covered Zillertal valley. After training your muscles in the skating- or classical style of cross-country skiing, there is no better place to rest than at our Gallahaus apartments – especially in our soothing wellness area.

There are plenty of ski mountaineering tours here in Zell and the surrounding area. No matter if you are trying out ski mountaineering for the first time or have years of experience, the ideal tour up the mountain awaits with untouched powder slopes for the rewarding ride back down. We recommend the alpine hut evenings which take place every Monday and Wednesday at the Arbiskogel Hut in Gerlosstein. For information regarding the current snow conditions, guided tours, weather, and avalanche warnings are available to you at the local ski schools. The skiing down the ski slopes outside the opening times of the mountain lifts in Zell is strictly prohibited due to cable winch ski slope preparation, which is life-threatening to skiers outside the operating hours.
